39 Weeks today/update symptoms

So this isn't really a question but I thought I'd describe my situation. Had a u/s last Wed to check babys position. Thankfully he isn't breech. I'm due Sat the 15th, but my doc and I have decided if I don't go into labor by the 20th, I will have a csection scheduled that day. They have me "penciled in". Scary thought. Trying for VBAC for those of you who don't know since my last was delivered by csection after not dilating. Really scared to have the surgery, but at least they're giving me a chance. Last time I was checked at 37w4d I was not dilated or effaced. he offered to check me at my last appointment but I refused because it really won't make a difference but make me worry. Would rather not know and just pray that my body will do what I want it to. I've been trying to pay attention to any early signs of labor. So far i've only had some irregular contractions, some cramping maybe two times a day, a definite difference in the intensity of my back pain, been feeling it much lower but it isn't completely intolerable (baths help A LOT), and (TMI?) ive been ridiculously gassy. I seem to be getting more out than usual too. Lol gross but relieving for sure. I honestly can't remember having any of these symptoms with my first (this late in pregnancy) so in hoping he decides to come this week! Anyone else similar to me? In terms of symptoms and close to due date?

Well no baby yet and same symptoms really. Ate some fresh pineapple last night and had a few contractions, but that was it. I ate it mostly because it sounded good anyway lol. My back has been killing me the past couple nights. Feels like it's getting worse. And had since more cramping. Idk tho. 10 days til csection. :-(  as soon as I finish these last two finals I'm going to walk a bunch and try to get hubby in the mood lol

Ugh that's me too lol it feels nice thou in a way but totally gross haha. Like I'm glad my hubby  hasnt been home for the last few hours LOL I was induced with my.first too. Labored nearly 30 hours and only got to a 4 even after he broke my water. Ugh. They induced me like 2 days after my due date with my son though for no real medical reason. I was completely healthy throughout that pregnancy with no complications whatsoever. So I'm glad I get a few extra days to go on my own, but no way do I want to be induced again!!

I really cant comment much as I was induced, I also didn't dilate and ended up with a section after 4 days of labour. However during early stages of induction I did have intense lower back cramps and was also gassy I remember feeling like I was going to poop every time I passed wind. Sorry tmi!
