Fertility issues finally getting some mainstream media coverage!

Found this article about miscarriages; it's probably nothing you brilliant ladies don't already know but I was tickled pink to see something in a mainstream media outlet about miscarriages and difficulty conceiving. Just thought I would share!

I know the nhs here in the uk is cash strapped as it is, but I think the 3 miscarriage rule stinks before they will test. I lost my first 2 pregnancies, 1 at 16 weeks due to a birth defect, 2nd a 8 weeks, missed miscarriage and my 3rd at 6 weeks a natural miscarriage. Because our first baby was not miscarried we were told you will need to lose another pregnancy before we will consider testing and then it depends on the circumstances. Thankfully we had a wonderful consultant who suggested I take a high dose of folic acid due to the first baby, progesterone early in pregnancy to help thicken the lining of my womb and jr aspirin up until 34 weeks....hey presto I have 3 healthy children now! And will do exactly the same this time when number 4 happens.

I saw something in a newspaper here awhile back about pregnancy loss.  It listed several resources and even some blogs that were started by women who had suffered a loss.  I kept it to post the resources but I think it got thrown away :(
