i need answers please im 21 weeks today !!!

So yesterday I was laying on my stomach and after a while my stomach started hurting on my right side (lower abdomen) And it wasn't very painful but then again it kinda was (mild pain) this happened to me before when I was turning (19 weeks) Like cramps But this time I started spotting . Could it be just the strain on my muscles and pelvic area? I'm kinda scared yesterday was my 1st Dr. App but I couldn't make it so now I'm Kinda Clueless ' BTW the spotting has stopped and the pain Now I'm back to normal I'm Just kinda shocked !!!

It's actually fine to lie on your stomach all the way through your pregnancy, it's just that when you get a big bump it becomes uncomfortable. I still try to lie on my stomach and I'm 27 weeks.

Spotting is normal during pregnancy, so are cramps. They say be careful if you get the two together, but with how far gone you are I (personally) think if something was seriously wrong, the spotting would turn into full on bleeding and the cramps wouldn't calm either. But obviously I'm not a doctor so you can't take my word for it.

If it helps, I had a full on bleed at 17 weeks and the hospital sent me home without doing any checks on me or the baby - that's how common bleeding during pregnancy is.

If you're unsure, call your doctor/midwife and go get reassurance. But just remember your baby is well protected in there and lying on your belly shouldn't harm your little miracle.

Good luck xxx
