Finally gave in!

Well after suffering through 2 weeks of nausea 24 hours a day I finally gave in and called the doctor for some kind of nausea medicine. My morning sickness is so bad I can hardly keep anything down and I had to call in for work last night.  I didnt want to take a bunch of pills through my pregnancy but I can't take it anymore! I hope the doctor calls back soon saying they sent it to the pharmacy

I did try coca cola before and it worked for about 3 days and now the smell of coke makes me sick! My doctor prescribed me zofran and phenegran... I didn't pick up the phenergran though because I don't want to use suppositories so I'm trying just zofran for now and if I need the phenergran I will go pick it up but right now I'm feeling quite a bitter better still can't eat much but have managed to keep down a little food and have been drinking more water because I couldn't drink anything before

I took zofran for the first 20 weeks of pregnancy it was that or become dehydrated and starve bevel with that I didn't each much but puked a lot less. Feel better!!  Strangely enough my OB recommended drinking little sips of coca cola (not diet) it actually did help!

Don't feel bad having to take things. I took Phenergan (and sometimes Zofran) 2-4 times a day for 7 months while pregnant with my daughter. Without it, I was vomiting constantly and couldn't eat. It was the only thing that helped me to eat, and even with it I didn't eat much or often. I hope you feel better soon!
