Labor Story!!!

Got induced at 8:00 pm on 02/10/15.
Have no idea what the first medicine given to me was, since it wasn't pitocin, but after it I dilated to a 2 cm. At 2 cm, 9:30 pm, got cervadil inserted. Started dilating very fast. Didn't feel any contractions until about 10:30 pm. They started getting really painful at about 1 am, 02/11/15. I didn't need to get any pitocin since my body was dilating on its own after getting the cervadil removed at 11:30 the night before.
Dilated to a 7 at about 4:30 am.
By 5:50 I was dilated to a 9, baby's head was seen and felt perfectly by the nurses. Doctor came at 6:30 am and began pushing a few minutes later.
At 6:52 am, 02/11/15, after 9 pushes, my baby boy was born. Healthy as can be, weighing 7.6 lbs and measuring 21 inches!
I did get a 2nd degree tear and got very swollen. Lost too much blood and my blood pressure got really low. I fainted twice yesterday, blacking out and not remembering what happened when I gained conciousness. But I am feeling better now that I have eaten and gotten some sleep, I should be getting discharged from the hospital some time later today.
Giving birth isn't that bad! The contractions are but I stuck with naturally, no edpidural, just how I wanted.
Not that I feel super proud about that, I just really hate needles. Lol.
But super happy having my beautiful baby boy with me now. Hoping to feel much better soon since I wasn't able to carry him that much after he was born since I got very sick. My husband has been doing most of the work, but I am so grateful for them both.

Mudbug_mommy, no they did not. They'll probably check you and all your information to have everything done for your induction though.

Aww that's my birthday I was born on the 11 of Feb my husband on the 11 of Aug and our baby is due May 11 I'm hoping he,comes then but usually,that doesn't happen but it would b pretty cool

I'm getting induced on Thursday but they are having me come into the hospital on Wednesday night then induced the following day. Did they do that to you??
