What is the likelihood of sex actually inducing labor? I'm only 35 weeks but dilated and 60% effaced.
Just a little worried cuz my cramps and back pain are getting more intense but not as consistent
I Think There Is Probably A Good Change Because I'm At Risk For Preterm Labor And My Doctor Said No Sex Till I'm 35 Weeks.
I'm nine days overdue and have had sex like every day for the past nine days and nothing has happened... It seems like it would work better than a lot of other things though and it's fun. :-)

I was 39 weeks 3 cm dated 80% effaced I think and had sex Monday night lost my mucous plug that night and the next morning went into labor Tuesday had my daughter early wed. Morning. My doctor said lots and lots of sex there's something in semen that naturally induces labor.
