First Child. HELP!!!!

Hello I just found out 2 days ago that I am pregnant. Both my husband and I are excited but I want to know when I should start going to the OB Doctor or should I go to my normal Doctor first? Please it would mean a lot if anyone can help.

The sooner u go the better!! I am only 6 weeks and have already been to my first OB appt.  This way they can prescribe you prenatal vitamins and take some blood to make sure your hormones are where they should be..

I would go to my regular Dr first and let them refer you to a good ob/gyn. But you need to get that appointment scheduled ASAP!  They would want to see you sometime between weeks 8-10.

I would go to your regular Dr first and confirm your pregnancy and they can refer you to an ob-gun in your area.

When was the first day off your last period? Then add up the weeks from that day and that's roughly how pregnant you are.

I don't have a dr. I only go when I'm pregnant. So I just called the clinic I wanted to go through. Mine doesn't take you until 8 weeks.
