First Pregnancy

So I am 36 weeks and 2 days, my stomach is really tight and I have weird sharp pains in my lady area? Also I have had a clear or eggshell mucous while going to the bathroom. Please only comment with helpful answers or suggestions TIA!

OB will check me for the first time Tuesday. And she is head down the only thing is my menstrual cramps were really bad cause of ovarian cysts. But it was always worst when I tried to walk it off.

The tightness sounds to me like bh, and the sharp pain in your v could just be baby's head pressing down on your cervix. Assuming baby is already head down. The mucus could be your mucus plug, but remember you can lose that quite a while before you go into labor. I had my first on Tuesday and when they say "you'll know when you're in labor" they mean it. It felt, to me, like very awful menstrual cramps. I was already dilated to a 3 before I went into labor though.

Thanks(: I went Wednesday for my 35w u/s I was 35w5d but when they tried to measure the top of her head they had to go way below my waistline and on top of that she has def. dropped. So yay! Just nervous hubby has alot going on with work and military and I am scared he will be 2 1/2 hours away when I go into labor!

Honestly im a ftm and 34 wks but it sounds like the start of something positive or baby may be pushing down into your ladybits.
