First scan

Quick question what happens at your first scan ?

I am 13 weeks and my scan is on the 2nd, when I got my letter through it said bring a wee sample I was a bit confessed on what this was for and it says allow an hour for the appointment, I have had one scan when I was like 5 weeks as I had bad cramps and was told was in right place. I am just kind of nervous

They measure baby size and date pregnancy depending on how far u r they check for heartbeat also they check and c if baby is in right place

Depends on how many weeks you are.
If its early weeks they might do internal scan and if your 12weeks they'll do tummy ultrasound measure bby and give you the edd x
