First time mommy

I am almost 38 weeks and I'm so confused about contractions.. Rather it's contractions or just me being uncomfortable ..  My sides and my back are hurting really bad. I feel like I almost have to go to the bathroom really bad.

Contractions feel like really bad period cramps, as far as Braxton hicks contractions I never knew what they felt like. But when my water broke, those period like cramps were kicking my butt

im 39 wks and my baby balls up. my stomach gets really tight.

So if your stomach gets really hard and the baby is balled you on one side, that's a contraction?

I'm 37 weeks today ftm I had this feeling last night it was like really bad period cramps and tightness and she was not fidgety at all last night, so confused I'm scared just in case I bypass it and not realise i'm going into labor??

The Dr. Told me everybody gets the Braxton hicks contractions but different ppl feel different things or describe them differently. ... but do u ever feel like your baby is balling up nd laying on one side ?? Your stomach gets real tight nd he/she almost poking thur yo skin? Well if so that's it
