Has anyone taken this while preg for BV?? Im sure my doc wouldnt give me something that would harm my baby but I am just curious if anyone has taken this....

Ok so does anyone else get constant headaches? I have had the same headache for 2 days now ugh. Its not horrible but its there and hurts worse sometimes than others...
Yes I took it in the beginning of my pregnancy and everything was fine....I think that's what they prescribe to everyone with bv

Ya I would say that BV is fairly common and flagyl is a medicaiton all physicians are familiar with, so I think youre good:)
Ive been looking it up and I to me when you google something all it does is makes stuff worse - makes me worry 1000000 times more!!! makes you think the worst and feel the worst. Just thought I would see if anyone else has taken it and if the baby was ok. Well to me BV is very common to and not rare so I think its all ok and they should know what they are talking about.
Flagyl is probably fine, but I caution you to think the doctor wont give you something you shouldnt have. I used to think that too until my OB tried to give me a medication for a rare condition that was clearly not intended to be taken while pregnant, It actually states online not to get pregnant for a few months after taking this medication. Always do your own research =)
I make sure to do this with my kids medications as well, and twice my daughter has been give a dose that was too high and once she was given a medication with egg products when she is clearly allergic to eggs.

Im 14 weeks and the doctor specifically said to wait until now to take it so it should be ok. Like I said I just worry
It just makes me worry when I take stuff like that ugh....like I dnt worry enough about everything. but she gave it to me bc she said that BV can cause premature labor and we DEF dont want that!
