Flu Shot?

Has anyone gotten their flu shot while pregnant? My dr wants me too but my boyfriend and I both refuse. I never gotten the flu shot before, not because i'm scared of the shot I can careless about that but I just don't believe in getting it. My body reacts to shots snd medicines in a weird way.  What are your opinions? Strictly opinions only.

My doctor also pushed for me to get a flu shot. I have a pretty pathetic immune system and I usually get sick after getting the shot but I agreed due solely to the fact that babies can be immunized till they're 6 months old and if they do get the flu it almost garuntees a hospital stay for them. I couldnt imagine my baby going through that so I ended up getting the shot and I actually haven't gotten sick yet. I feel like it's a good idea but if your body reacts strangely maybe just try to talk to your doctor about it and see what they can do to help

I'm totally with you, the flu shot is a horrible thing in my opinion. I told my doctor no, & I've been fine my entire pregnancy. They like to say it helps the baby, but there's nothing good about it. Good for you for saying no.

I never had the flu shot until I got pregnant with my first, I didn't exactly want it but I knee I couldn't handle getting the flu while being pregnant. I just had the flu shot yesterday with my 2nd pregnancy and did fine. Its really your choice but flu would definitely not be fun during pregnancy
