Hi just woke up and as usual I like to touch my tummy to feel my baby and say good morning only to feel my tummy was cold a lil worried so I decided to check it up on the internet. Feel better now with all your comments and I can feel my baby moving
LOL I was all alone last pregnancy so I had a lot of time to think up good logical explanations for some of the pregnancy anomalies....I'm feeling a lot better. I guess what happened was I had an ovarian cyst that burst in my sleep. It's probably what woke me up, in fact, when I got up at 5am and found the spotting. If I push too hard I still get a spot of blood every once in awhile so I'm still on bedrest until the high risk OB can work me in. Crossing my fingers for this week but maybe next week....but I'm okay now. Not as freaked out. Starting to go stir crazy from having to lie around but....you know, still okay, LOL. Thanks for asking :)
Wow Ashelen, that does make sense. Man, I guess this is what i have to look forward to. BRING IT ONNNN!!!
that makes a lot of sense...thank you! i feel much better about it now lol. gosh pregnancy is weird!
how are u feeling btw?
it's also due to the fact that the skin over your belly is no longer nestled up against your organs....and the uterus is insulating the baby, so the skin there is more vulnerable to the outside air and more likely to stay cool. It's not being heated up from inside, in other words :).
I just noticed mine is cold too after reading your post! Lol. I guess it's probably due to me airing my belly as well. :)
yeah...thats the only thing i could come up with as well. i just wanted to make sure i wasnt missing something big that i should know but didnt. its probably just another one of those weird pregnancy symptoms. thanks
Hmmm... only speculating but probably due to the anemia and poor blood circulation. It won't harm baby. I found my stomach was ice cold many times throughout my pregnancy but it was just because I was so hot I'd sleep without a blanket or shirt covering my belly so it got cold.
