So I have the flu and since I can't take dayquil I've been using a humidifier and Vicks vapor rub but I'm still coughing to the point that I've pulled most of the muscles in my torso. Long story short I was just wondering if I'm doing any harm to the baby from coughing so much. She's definitely moving less than usual but I figure that's just from the stress of it. I'm 28 weeks BTW.

You need to get checked to make sure it isn't the flu because it's true my ob said the flu in pregnant women can be very dangerous to both the mother and the unborn baby better to be safe than sorry

I honestly don't know.. I haven't gone to a doctor but my best guess is the flu. Fever, hot/cold flashes, achy, no energy, chest and nose congestion, sore throat, cough...

Are you sure it's definitely the flu? The flu is supposed to be extremely dangerous to unborn babies but if it is just some other sickness or cold your baby should be fine.
