1st baby

This is my 1st baby and havent had an ultrasound since 6 weeks when they saw the fetus and heartbeat i am now 11 weeks and 4 days and wish i knew if everything was ok and i could at least hear the heartbeat.

I had my first ultrasound at around 5 weeks and dont get another til 19 weeks.  :(   Im currently 16weeks+6. Excited :)

If you want to hear the heartbeat more often, eBay sells Dopplers and you can purchase one and listen anytime you want. Just an FYI :)

You should be getting another ultrasound around week 20 for an organ check and at this time they should be able to tell you the sex of the baby if he/she is cooperating. You will soon be getting to hear the heartbeat at every doctor visit. Don't worry I'm sure baby is just fine!

I'm sure everything is perfect. Don't worry :) I'm 31weeks and just got my first ultrasound last week lol. When you get further along you should buy a fetusscope you can listen to theheart beat all you want :)

I know how you feel i was in the same boat you should be able to get another one and they do a check for DS and spinal stuff at 13 weeks
