Freebies!
So I have yet to see a post where people can share their "bargains" or freebies they found. I managed to get plenty so far but am hoping others have found some too. Found out my hospital uses Similac formula if you are unable to breast feed. By joining their website I was able to get 2 full size cans + a bottle that they make and a MILLION coupons. I also called Pampers seeing as I have always loved their yellow swaddler diapers and was sent 76 size 2 diapers. I managed to use Ebay and purchase things people also got as gifts. Made a few extra emails and used friends/family address' to get a few more of these same samples. If anyone else has any PLEASE share! :) I'm also looking for reviews on bassinets/play yards with the added bassinet/changing station. Any opinions I'm greatful for. I'm an avid reader of reviews and feedback but most of the moms are here so why not!!!!???!!
I wanted to bump this and also say... I had more coupons last week on similac then I had similac in the cart.... I used store coupons and manufacturers which ended up going over the amount of similac and actually saved me around $30. I made one huge shopping trip to stock up and this worked. As similac sends more coupons I will be budgeting them out to get more awesome stuff!
Similac coupons say any formula. The newborn predone bottles here are just over $6 but I'm going to see if I can pull off what u said!!!

Enfamil also sends sample cans of formula for signing up on their website! I got 2 cans for my first :) and similac with my first helped SEVERAL times when i couldnt afford formula.
Their coupons said 5 off any similac formula. The pre mixed bottles used to be 3.18 at my walmart so i would get them free + overage! Might be worth checking into at your walmart and looking to see if their coupons changed to say powdered formula only etc. If its still that way you can apply overage to your grocery bill, diapers or any other purchase you are making then. :)

I also plan on using the playard so my baby can sleep in my room. I think bassonets are a HUGE waste of money, and if I had a crib the baby would have to sleep away from me in the room at the complete opposite end of the house. I've been looking on amazon, and many of the safety 1st playards are so much cuter than graco and they're $60-70 too. I plan to get a mattress too off of Amazon, because I saw one seller that sells playard mattresses for $22, and I'll probably buy a cute sheet set for the mattress and that is LESS than $100 all together, whereas with a crib I'd be spending an arm and a leg.
I'm reading target gives you $20 gift card for doing a baby or wedding registry and babies r us does a $10 but that these are stackable with coupons or other deals as well ... still researching....

I'm going to look at this now. We saw one at babies r us that I fell inlove with. They either have one thing or are missing another usually. I'm squeezing 5 kids into a 3 bedroom house until we move right after the baby so I am definately looking for the same accomodations. Thank you SO much! I was glued to a blue/gray/black pattern they had at target but there was NO compartment. I fell inlove with "newborn nappers" but they seem stupid in retrospect. I basically need everything to be in one spot like you described. I really appreciate your post!!
Im also an avid couponer... for those of you that have Target in your area... stay up to date with their coupons. The coupons online can double up with manufacturers coupons. I always see pampers on there along with many other things!! I actually had a facebook account for "lets shop for free" and used many stores (CVS, walgreens, etc).
I have the s1 by safety first playard(the newest all grey one) that my baby will be sleeping in for a few months and i love it. it has the changing table and also has storage shelves and a hamper under the changer. perfect for my small apartment and i love the storage. ite perfect for diaper and wipes and stuff like that. Theres also alot of storage space under the sleeping part. the only thing i recommend doing if you get this one, or any playard actually, is buying a mattress for it if it is going to be a daily user since they are usually pretty hard. i ordered the playard from babyrus and got the mattress from walmart for $30
Similac does send you $250 worth of stuff. Enfamil will too ... I read it's only once your delivering but I'm looking into a way around that :).
Pampers - I'll have to take a picture of what I got because it's hard to explain. If you were to open one of the huge boxes I got the extra huge clear bag thats basically 1/2 the box. I've heard theres two ways - one being pretty bad. Call in while your at the store saying you opened a package of diapers and there was an issue (IE: the bands arent fully attached and won't stay on your child). They will immediately offer to send you something. I personally found a youtube video for free huggies diapers - and did it with pampers. Theres a specific consumer number (I'll see if I can find the link in my history) and I explained my oldest son has eczema and their whole "1 sample every few months" wasn't helping me figure out if his reaction was to LUVS or Pampers. (This all being true for me). It takes some negotiation skills but I really wanted to make a diaper cake and hubby wasn't having it unless I was able to get freebies.
We also managed to get 6 more of the similac bottles (Basically the starter kit). It's quite nice and I'm excited. Got one of these green bottles it actually LOOKS like a boob... nuks, etc. I'm going to make a list of what I did for what I'm hoping this catches on!

I got similac from the Dr office they gave me vitamin a supplements some dry formula, premade formula, a nipple and 2 bottles! They signed me up with them and apparently I will recieve over $250 in their products for free (: I signed up for babies r us if you make a registry with them you get $10 gift card free and tons of coupons and savings.
Yeah how did you get free pampers? I have messaged them and all they said was oh we have coupons at our website you can print out:/
