All in all, if you are past your first trimester and really need help, the risk is a small percentage and only recent studies say it's bad so I dunno. Most doctors will okay it I think
You can get different kinds of Sudafed. My doctor did not okay the decongestant kind but some other kind that I can't think of the name. I think you can find the name online though
My doctor told me to stay away from sudafed as it blocks capillaries to decongest and can happen in your belly so not good for baby x
Ive had a cold for over two weeks now. Had two courses of antibiotics as it really knocked me. Still dont feel hundred percent. Its better to ask doctor what your allowed but i no decongestions are a big no go. Have plenty of rest hot steamy baths and hope your on the mend soon x
My doctor okayed cough drops (not too many), Sudafed in moderation, and two Tylenol every six hours. I'm not sure if your doctor would okay that stuff but it is considered all safe in moderation by mine. Good luck and feel better!
Thanks ladys so much i just wish it goes away pretty soon i hate the feeling:(
Feel you girl im 40+ 2 days and i have a bad cold wish i didnt have it at yhe end when im support to give birth to my baby
Ugh, very sorry to hear this. As if pregnancy isn't hard enough, being sick on top of it is the worst!! I think you can probably use halls. But I don't want to tell you that for sure because I don't know for sure. Take some hot, steamy showers to loosen up the stuffy nose and head. Drink some tea. I used honey on my throat . . . I know babies can't have honey until a certain age but think a prego mama can have it.
If it gets worse or you can't stand it, go on in to your primary care doctor or an urgent care. You may need antibiotics if it turns into a sinus infection or if you have strep throat.
Anyway, I know I wasn't too helpful. Hope you are better soon. peace
