normal?? miscarriage..?

Im 11 weeks preg n ive been spotting on n off for a few days now
its been really light n only when i wipe
so i went to the dr yesterday n they checked my hcg level n
that came back normal.
but this morning the first 3 times i went to the
bathroom there was blood in the toilet, no clots or nething tho.
but since then i havent been bleeding..
if i was miscarrying would my hcg level still be normal?
and would the bleeding be on n off? or would it just be heavy?
i really hope nothing is wrong! ive been stressin
i have an ultrasound tues morning but i just want some opinions...

I can only give you my experience, which sounds somewhat similar.  I am now 22 weeks pregnant with my third child.  my first two I had 2 instances of significant bleeding which stopped and I had no problem otherwise, babies were fine.  This pregnancy I have spotting and sometimes what seems more like spurts of bleeding sometimes randomly but usually after any time when I bare down like with a bowel movement (sorry if tmi).  Also if I have any kind of activity sexually I have the spotting also.  And sometimes for no reason at all it seems.  This has been going on with me since I was 9 weeks.  I had an US and all looked good.  The doctor put my on bedrest for 2 weeks just to try but didn't seem to change anything so I was put back to normal activities as the bleeding seems to be random and of no negative consequence to the baby or myself.  I don't know what the reason is for your bleeding, but I have been told several times by doctors that some women to just have unexplained spotting throughout their pregnancy...could be a sensitive cervix etc. If your us goes well on tuesday i would think you're doing just fine.  Once you hear a heart beat your chance of miscarriage drops dramatically.  I'm just now getting to a point where the spotting doesn't freak me out and it's been going on for like over 3 months.  Hopefully your spotting is just as uneventful as mine has been.  Hang in there.  Tuesday will come!  Good luck and write back when you get the results if you are ok with doing so.
