So I've had absolutely horrid acid reflux. I'm just shy of 19 weeks. I've been taking Pepcid AC along with diet changes, tums and all the other things people recommend. It's only gotten WORSE. Come to find out today at my appointment, I have GERD. Sort of nice to know I'm not crazy or a whiny baby lol. The dr prescribed a new medicine I start tomorrow, but for now? I'm at a friend's house playing silly card games. I took pepcid ac at the start of the symptom and just took tums. Well, now my insides are warm and I'm in the bathroom since I've come to learn this means I will throw up soon. Ugh. I literally vomit from excess of acid... I hope to god these new meds can help and am praying I don't throw up here. Though by how shaky I am I have a feeling I will.

Anyone else have GERD?

They couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. I also had my gall bladder removed due to gall stones at age 21.  At the moment i don't take anything and i haven't gotten a attack in afew weeks thank God. But i found ice cold milk soothes it. Don't get rid of it but it does help the burn.

Unbelievably so. Everyone's like, "take tums" and I'm like lol that stopped working at 13 weeks.
