I had emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder at 10 weeks I am now 16 weeks and feel a lot better!  Mine was a constant pain for 4-5 days and the er was giving me morphine and dilota and it wasn't touching the pain so the admitted me and removed it the next day! Everything they gave me was OK for my baby. The pain meds and the medicine to put me to sleep during surgery was safe for baby.

I had my gallbladder out back in Sept. Of last year.. i had stones blocking my main bile duct which caused me to have pancreatitis and turn jondise and spent a little over a week in the hospital on morphine got sent home and had to wait 3 weeks for the infections to go away before the could remove it .. after surgery The doc came in the room and explained to me that it had died while it was still in there .. about an hour after surgery I was walking around Wal-Mart waiting on my scripts and ever sense then I've never felt better

I had problems after my.pregnancy with my gallbladder. Ended up having emergency surgery my gallbladder was so infected it was about 3 times the size it should have been. The last few attacks i had i ended up in emerge on morphine abd the last time it took 12 hrs of morphine before the pain subsided. I can safely say it hurt more then birth for me. Ive had it removed now for over a year and havent had any problens since! I feel your pain its awful to go through. I couldnt imagine being preggo and dealing with it.

Ohh Gees ladies I sympathize with you. ;/ my Sony second pregnancy important on fifth now I started with gallbladder issues around 5 months. I lost my search grandmother and all within days found out had to hold off as long as possible for surgery..  It was pretty bad. Watch greasy fatty foods. But last few wksvi was even throwing up water. They had to bump my surgery date closer. My step sister and a couple friends have had the same thing happen the anesthesiologist asked me if I'd recently had a baby he'd seen a boom he said in pregnancy bringing in gallbladder issues. Not sure why it's linked. This was fifteen yrs ago already in still have pain with certain foods waiting to long after I wake towards so follow drs orders it helps :)  best of luck

I am actually having an attack now going on my third hour ughhhh and even though I'm not prego anymore its just as awful. It started when I was about 20wks and my doc said I had to wait until after baby was born and after 6 wks of recovery. If its extreme they will do an emergency surgery but they generally wait for baby to arrive. I'm only 3 wks postpartum but I have a consulation next week with a surgeon and am hoping I can get in soon. Its like labour all over again except the pain is constant and doesn't go away like contractions and no medicine helps!! Nothing helps!  My true sympathy goes out to anyone that has gallstones :/

Im pregnant with my second baby. Witth my 1st pregnancy I felt those pains around 13 weeks thy started off with lil pain n last 3 mins, then as I got bigger thy got stronger n lasted hours. I had to get induced at 36 weeks cuz the pains were unbareable. Bt my dr didnt knw y I had pains tht y I was induced thy thought it was labor pains. A week later I go to the er for those same pains to a different hospital  from where I had my son tthts where I found out it was my gallbladder n got it removed the next day. So I didnt even recover from my labor wen I had surgery. Bt the dr said it was good I got it removed becuz it was about to rupture. Bt those pains are something else especially being pregnant

I had mine removed a few months before I got pregnant. . But my sister went all the way through hers with gallstones and the pain was something else for her. Along with the symptoms of pregnancy. They wouldn't remove the gallbladder until she had my nephew, and still had to wait a month as she needed to recover from labour. It is possibly different depending on where you are from.. but its invasive surgery and not overly great for baby. Unless of course it poses risk on the actual pregnancy. I wish you luck and hope it gets sorted soon for you x
