Gas/bloating, Braxton Hicks, or both? Please help!?

I just got into my 3rd trimester yesterday (Yay!) and I'm fairly happy. This morning I woke up extremely hungry so I got breakfast. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, grits, and a Belgian waffle. I only ate half of it but felt full and my stomach got tight a little afterwards. Now I'm very uncomfortable and can't even lay down to relax because of the aches and minor pains I feel. Then on top of that in burping, passing gas (Tmi sorry lol), and my upper stomach is very hard and tight. The baby is still moving and kicking but it feels so weird and hurts since my stomach is in knots. What can this be?

I think it was gas lol. I see that gas and pregnancy don't mix.

Could be some braxton hicks- the best thing to do is to draw yourself a warm bath- if it doesn't 'relax' and get better in the bath-  and the tightness seems to come and go regularly- you will want to start timing when they come and go- if it's regular and closer together, call your doctor.  It might just be regular pregnancy discomforts though!
