Gender Scan?

Hey sorry to post another question so soon, but It just came to my mind. We are getting our "20" Week Scan in two weeks when I am 19 almost 20 weeks. We are very strong about not finding out the sex until the baby is born. When we tell the u/s tech that, will they try to move it away from the "privates"... I am just worried that while we are having it, our baby is just going to be Open wide, I am a >>>>> lol And I kinda want to be suprised.

Lol Good. haha I was so nervous, I am almost in tears just thinking about it. I am like what if baby is just wide open and ruins the suprise for us, but I am happy that they quickly glide over it. lol I cant wait to see the face!

and they spend most of the time on the heart, lungs, kidneys and brain and only glide over the genitals for a few seconds, so most likely they won't even check it.

lol they will go over it pretty fast if you don't want to know, but personally...if the ultrasound isn't in 4D then it is very hard to tell if it's a boy or girl. I have pictures of my little one's "boy parts" in my photo album, and I still can't tell that it's a boy. They will switch the 20 wk scan to 3d/4d near the end so they can get a good face shot for you, but I don't think you'll be able to tell unless you're an experienced u/s tech lol
