Gestation Confusion..???

On the day i got my first ultrasound, it said that I was 7 weeks and 1 day. (12mm) But, calculating from my last period and possible conception date, I should have been 7 weeks and 5 days at the time. The baby had a healthy heart beat, but I'm still concerned. Could there be something wrong?

It is not uncommon during early pregnancy to be a few days off and it is nothing to worry about, espeically not about 4 days. From my LMP I would be due April 5, according to my 10 week U/S I am due April 11th and there is not problem/concern with that. The thing is there is no way to know how long it took to fertilize and implant, plus to know the exact time that you ovulated so it is not an exact science to go by LMP but gives an idea. The most accurate is the U/S because early on every baby is the same size and genetics dont kick in until later to make babies vary in size. Dont worry about it and have a healthy pregnancy.

I was the same way, I just have a longer cycle then the standard 28days... thats all it means.   You ovulated later then what the pregnancy calculators use for a standard.  not a big deal.
