First Pregnancy

I'm 7 weeks into my first pregnancy and I'm still feeling very nauseous. Plus, I have to force myself to eat for my baby. Does the sick feeling go away? Help!

Those medications can cause major birth defects do look into it before you decide, and they are for hyperemisis, this sounds like uncomfortable nausea.  It usually starts to go away after 13-14 weeks, but for some women it lasts longer.  Soaking in Epsom salt bath might help.  And improving your gut flora.  Also black licorice is said to relieve nausea, so if you're weird like me and love it, yay!  I'm 6w2d in my 3rd pregnancy and I've (luckily) had less nausea with each pregnancy.  A diet high in protien will also lessen nausea.

I'm about 11 weeks, I'm still nauseous often. Just depends. I hear it goes away after the first trimester but I've also heard that it can last throughout. I try to drink lots of water when I feel sick and saltines and yogurt worked for me.

Also keep hydrated! You need to have plenty of fluids for you and your baby.

During my first trimester I was constantly nauseous and it was unbearable. Saltines helped but honestly the original lays potato chips helped me the best. When you have your doctor appointment they can prescribe you phenegren or zofran to help with the nausea! It depends on the person but usually it will definitely get better.  I'm in my third trimester now and it's been wonderful!  :)
