Glucose Test
I have to take my Glucose Test tommorow in my doctor said not to eat anything but my appointment ain't till 3 pm I'm going to be so hungry tommorow! :(
It really depends on if you are taking the 1 or 3 hour test. My doctors told me not to fast before the 1 hours but the second time I took it I didn't eat very much I failed the 1 hour test each time no fasting before and I had to fast for the 3 hour test and passed and when I took it again I failed by like 4! Now I have to meet with a diabetes education specialist! Whatever, it isn't the worst thing in the world!
I had mine at 9 am and they said not to eat anything with sugar and once you take the drink you cant eat or drink anything for an hour or so. Drink isnt as bad as everyone says...it was all cake walk...biggest thing is do not stress over it and think positive, I had high blood pressure because I was scared because what everyone had told me but it wasnt anything worth stressing over. Quick, easy and painless :) good luck
