Glucose Test

Just wondering when do you have to stop eating is it after 12 or an hour before the appoinment ?

She is going to get confused now.. Here is what you should do, eat something with protein like an egg sandwich an hr or 2 before your test, then drink water. After i did mine, the lady told me i could have ate something beforehand.. I got pretty sick. Make sure u bring crackers for afterwards, just incase u get sick. I failed to bring crackers as well lol

But that was for the 3 hour long glucose test!

My doctor told me to stop eating 8 hours before the test!

I couldn't eat past midnight for the 1 hour test.
It's best to call and ask.

Mine is a 2 hr test and fast after 10pm the night before your appointment.

You only fast for the 3 hr test.

My doctor says 12 hours before appointment time she told me I could only drink water between that time frame and drink nothing after I drunk the glucose drink

Its whatever ur dr tells u personally. Mines said I don't have to fast. It all depends on urs.
