Glucose test at 16 weeks???!!!

So from my last two pregnancies, I don't ever remember having my glucose test that early...has anyone ever done their glucose test around 15-16 weeks?

Usually it is later but if they have detected sugar in your routine urine test or had gd in a previous pregnancy some drs will test early.

Usually they're supposed to be later on unless suspected earlier on because it can develop later in pregnancy!

I had 2 glucose tests done.  One around 8 weeks and the other at around 26 weeks. Both came back fine. No GD

I had mine at 26 weeks. I read that it should be done at 24-28 weeks as well. Do you have a new doctor this time? I'd question them because women mainly develop diabetes later in pregnancy, shouldn't be this early.

Any doctor ive had has always performed the glucose test between 24-28 weeks with all 3 of my kids. I suppose every doctor is different but it does seem a little early.
