Glucose test?

Do you have to remain seated during the one hour glucose test? I came for my glucose test and the lady just told me to drink the drink and that to come back an hour later, when I finished the drink I went outside and came back inside half an hour later and she tells me I can't leave I have to be inside the waiting room during the whole hour so I'm confused? She never told me I had to stay inside during the whole time.

The nurse should tell you what you can/can't do. I had to wait in the waiting room until it was time to get my blood drawn.

You can leave as long as you come back on time ,She is just being a b****. An dont eat or drink anything until they draw blood.
