Going for an ultrasound tomorrow.
I am supposed to be about 5wks 2days today

YAY! Thats right on target with how far along you are! Did they schedule you for another one anytime soon?
i remember when i had an early u/s (around 5 weeks) i was freaked out because i didnt see the beating heart and i believe there wasnt a fetal pole....a week later a baby was clearly there with a beating heart.....
we are about at the same point in our preg and im hoping ill be going in for an u/s in the next few weeks but im trying to hold off so i dont have that same scare again

Probably a gestational sac and possibly a yolk sac. If you see more than that you are likely further a long than you think.
