Going off BC. How soon do ya think I could get pregnant if I stop taking it.
Im wanting to stop taking my birth control because its making me sick. Hubby and I want kids but the thing stopping us is he might be going to afghanistan in april. He is on standby so we might not know until april. I dont mind being pregnant when hes gone so getting pregnant at the end of march would be ok. Im wondering my odds of getting pregnant within 5 months of going off nuvaring. When I was off all BC for 5 months (after being on yasmin for 2 years) I never got pregnant. I have now been on Nuvaring for 6 months. Any thoughts on if I would get pregnant in the first 5 months? Thanks
uh thanks for sharing your stories. Any one been off it after being on it for like 2 years and not gotten pregnant, then switched for 6 months and gone off it and got pregnant?
My sister came off of bc and fell within 1 month with 2 of her kids, she was on depo for 6 months and took 10 months to conceive with her 3rd.
I myself was on depo for 2 and a half years and 27 months later i'm still not pregnant, it just depends on every woman's body some are ready to conceive quicker than others but if i was you i would start trying now i would count my blessings if you fell pregnant quick as seeing a negative HPT every month really pulls at the heart strings. Best of luck whichever you decide

Yea everyone is different, I had been on the pill for almost 5 yrs and decided I wanted to be off it for a while. I figured it would be a while before I would be able to conceive but.......I got pregnant within 2 wks of taking my last pill. So you never know.
I have heard some people say that they think BC is the reason they can't conceive and I know some people that got pregnant the first month off. Everyone is different so there is really no way for you to know.
