yes its very common and its very simple to rule out serious side effects with the antibiotics... i was really worried about going into labour too quick and my fear was that i wouldnt get the antibiotics in time... ya i was wrong! i had tons of time lol and ended in a csection anyway... so definitely not something i needed to stress over!

Very true. The doctor told me that it's harmless to us (in most cases) which made me feel better, but then when she said it could harm the baby if she caught it, I started getting really worried. This is my first baby and I'm just so scared something will happen. But we got to stay positive :)

I have it too. I'm 38 weeks. the doctor said that I have to let them know as soon as I go to the hospital that I tested positive for it so they can start the antibiotics. I kinda freaked out when she told me, but I spent the rest of the day googling it and learning as much as I can about it. I have to admit, even though the odds of it harming the baby are like 1 in 2000, it still makes me nervous. My sister also had it, so she's been telling me that the baby will be fine and the antibiotics will help keep it away from the baby.
