When do you get tested? Im 33 weeks andmy doctor hasnt mentioned anything about it, & i keep forgetting to ask. Lol

you get your gbs stress test between weeks 35-37 weeks, and all it is not painful all they do is swab your rectal area and privates, to see if you have some infection, that comes from your gastreniol intestines( i think i spelled it right) and if you test positive they give you antibiotics when you go in labor, so your baby want get the infection during delivery. Dont worry it aint bad i just got minetwo weeks ago, i have to get antibiotics when i have my baby, in 8 days.... im soo ready

I got mine done at 16 weeks doc said since it showed I have to get antibiotics before I deliver I don't need to b tested again

My doctor said the test last for 5 weeks so they do it as close to due date as possible. She didnt tell me what happens in the test so when she went for the back door sneak attack made me jump on the table and she laughed at me.

Yeah ill be 36 weeks when i get checked for that its my next appt

Usually 32-36 weeks . Got mine done both times for both pregnancies at 35 weeks .

36 seems so late though. I went into labor at 35w so if my Dr had waited we wouldn't have known that i was positive

I got tested last wednesday and I was 36 weeks.

Usually at 36 weeks is when they test you, I just got mine and she swabbed my vag and butt! Haha I thought she may have missed the hole, but I guess that was normal.

They found out I was positive for it in my urine at 33 weeks

I think i got tested around 32w. It's just a cotton swab of your lower vaginal area right close to your rectum takes only a second
