HCG & Progesterone Results- UGH!!!

Doctor just called with my results:

11 DPO

HCG: 58

Progesterone: 13

Now she said not to be alarmed because the progesterone is so low as I am very early (AF isn't due until Sunday) but she is calling me in Prometrium to take twice a day.

I am really nervous girls....

Try not to worry (I know it's hard not to do!) I really hope those numbers keep going up and you have a healthy little bean!!

Thank you both so much!!

I have a sonogram scheduled for March 16th (7 weeks 1 day) and we are praying for a heartbeat. Right now I need to take the Prometrium 2x a day vaginally.

The doctor doesn't want me to come back in for another blood draw until next Thursday (exactly one week from the last draw) because she wants to give the Prometrium time to work so I can get a more accurate result of my numbers.

Joy- your progesterone was 11 WITH supplements??

The supplements will help! Be relieved you got the levels checked and that this could help things along. My Progesterone dropped to 11-something and we saw our little bean with a beating heart just this past Monday (at 8 weeks 5 days).

I would get a sonogram around week 7 or if your hCG reaches 30,000 or more.

Don't be nervous! My progesterone was 13 at 4.5w pregnant with DD and I was bleeding! I took prometrium until 12 weeks and was so nervous to stop taking it, but I did. DD turned out healthy and perfect! My hcg was 109 or something like that. I think because you're so early in your pregnancy that that's why your numbers are low, just like your dr said. Don't be alarmed just yet! Good luck! I'll be praying that your numbers continue to rise!
