Today is not a good day!

So this morning I woke up bleeding like I am on my last day of my period. I'm almost to ovulation, but I was suspecting a UTI.  I went to the doctor and it was confirmed that I have an infection. That is number 4 since august of last year, one in january 07 too. So 5 in the last 17 months. Well they said I may have an abnormal urethra. So I need to go see a urology specialist and have tested done. That was great news...And my mom is having an ablation done next tuesday for possible endometriosis. And since I need to see a specialist..I can't really do it next week because my work needs me.

I work with my mom..she's worked for this company for 8 years, I'm at a year and a half. This girl that quit before I came back decided to come back and ever since she has been back there's been a lot of gossip about my mom in the office. There was a huge fiasco with another lady in purchasing and they had to have a meeting over it. Someone told her my mom was talking **** about her and all kinds of things. My mom has never talked **** about anyone in the office. This really hurt my mom because the lady said that people don't like her...which is weird because we all get along with everyone. Its like being back in high school because since the other girl came back, clicks have started to form..This other girl is away from her desk constantly. People seem to ask her to do things more then me (Were both in customer service) and I think she's changed her attitude. Like she's more important, but when it comes down to it, she messes A LOT of things up, while I rarely make mistakes on my work. She has also been going to lunch with a friend who works here, and is taking long lunches almost 3 times a week. Were supposed to have 30 minutes, but she takes an hour or more. She is ALWAYS away from her desk, either in the sales office chatting it up with them, in service with the lady there, or at the purchasing ladies desk talking. OR she's outside on her cell phone. I'm a smoker so I take a few breaks that are at most 5 minutes, maybe twice a day, but I'm at my desk all day otherwise. But anyways, now my mom has been VERY loyal to this company and they would probably all be scared ******** without her here. She's pretty high up. But with this click thing going on, my mom (and me) is thinking about leaving. Since people are becoming more careless with the jobs and she has no time to screw off like they do, she doesn't find it fair. She can't stand it when there is a lot of gossip and people taking sides and just making things more unprofessional then they should be. So that's been stressing us out here for a few weeks..

Then today we went to lunch to Olive Garden. We go to pull into a parking space and were almost all the way in next to this SUV and BAM! There was this kid in it, which we couldn't see AT ALL, and he swung his door open right as the front of my mom's tahoe was pulled in. The bottom of his door hit my moms bumper. He looked and hes like "Oh its okay its just a little scratch, nothing happened to mine!" We looked and its dented with a big scratch, and the paint is missing in the area. My mom just told him not to worry about it because she didn't want to deal with it and the kid looked scared. Plus she said with her luck it would be deemed her fault anyways hah. Now she's thinking my dad's going to be totally TO'ed with her, but I told her not to worry about it. So its only 2 oclock...what more **** is the day going to bring us!? GAH!

On the plus side I brought a peice of cake back from OG and I'm enjoying that.

I got kidney infection a lot of times. When I got cs they told me I had kidney stones. After they were removed adiagnosed, I was put on low sodium and calcium diet and a lot of fluid, I am ok
But this can be anything.

You should start drinking cranberry juice it better than antibiotic for kidney infection.

Well I made the appointment. Its not until June 10th, but I got antibiotics and the infection is gone. I started bleeding even worse though! I was trying to remember if I forgot a day of my BC pills. And I think I may have a week or so before I went to the doctor. Would it have taken that long for breakthrough bleeding to occur? I was wondering if I had just started it and with the medication possibly killing the BC hormones if it was like I wasn't taking the pill...I don't know, but the bleeding is dying down now..I was having cramps too. I was thinking I may be pregnant or something, but I think thats wishful thinking lol. I would be due this week if I hadn't miscarried so this week is going to be pretty hard for me. And last night I had a dream that I had a baby that was about 4 or 5 months old. I was so happy in the dream...just playing with her and giving her a bunch of kisses. She was the sweetest little girl. I was giving her raspberries on her tummy and she was giggling at me. Then I woke up...and was saddened by it. It's just not fair! :(

Oh by the way I was at dinner with DF and a couple of friends. Somehow my baby got brought up and I said that I would give anything to have my baby back. My DF said "even me?" I just blurted out Yes even you. He didn't seem phased at all, but I feel kind of guilty for saying that...should I feel guilty? I didn't hurt his feelings, but I don't know..I felt out of line or something. I think he understood though...I keep thinking about it..

I had a kidney infection last year and had blood in my urine for about 7 months after that.  They never found out exactly what was causing it.  I go for urine tests every 6 months now.  Luckily, I had general anesthesia for the Cystoscopy and didn't wake up until after the procedure was over.  I don't remember having a catheter or anything for that matter.  I remember having bladder infections as a child also and I think it's typical.  I hope you are able to figure out what is going on soon!

I was thinking about that. If I feel one coming on just drink some cran juice, but I asked my dr and she said that if I have an infection that won't really help. Because an infection will only go away with antibiotics.

Gah that sounds horrible! I remember when I was 8 or so...I had to have this procedure where they went in through the urethra and looked at my kidneys only. I was little and they tried to do with me away but it hurt so bad so I told them no. They ended up knocking me out to do it...then I woke up to them telling me to pee on the table! I was like heck no I'm a big girl! I still had the tube inside of me too. My mom finally coaxed me into peeing...I felt SO weird..Could that be what you are talking about?! Man if I have to do that again I hope they knock me out again. I remember last time my results came back normal. I was getting them from taking bubble baths. My dr thinks I may have a blockage or an abnormal urethra...that sounds great. I'm still bleeding though. I got my prescription filled. Its a twice a day for three days med, I guess I will start it tonight. I just want the annoying bleeding to go away. I'm waiting for the specialist to call me back to schedule my appt. Wonderful!

I've never been to a urinologist but my whole life i have had uti and even kidney infections so now i take a cranberry sublement.   and i also have a cran-aid tea that i drink if i feel one coming on

I had hematuria (blood in my urine) last year and had to go to a Urologist and get a Cystoscopy.  A Cystoscopy is a procedure that enables a Urologist to view the inside of the bladder and urethra through a cystoscope that is inserted through the urethra into the bladder.  It sounds awful, but I was under anesthesia and was out the entire time.  I've had to go back and get urine tests a few times since then.  Good luck!

Oh by the way!

Has anyone ever had to go to a urinologist? Or had that kind of testing done? What do they do exactly?
