HCG levels keep rising but they don't see anything.

Hi,

Okay I'm trying to see if anybody ever went through what I'm going through now. About 3-4 weeks ago i took a pregnancy test which came up positive. (it was a clear blue test) Went in and got checked up since i was spotting. The doctor i went to did an ultrasound after my second set of hcg levels, which were rising but weren't exactly doubling, but they always came close to doubling. She then told me I was having an ectopic pregnancy, even though i wasn't showing symptoms. So after I left her went to another doctor whom said i was fine. 2 day later got more hcg drawn and levels were still going up. Long story short. my levels are still rising and they still dont see anything what so ever. They want to give me methotrexate to end the pregnany, but im scared that the only reason they cant see anything is because im extremely early. Also i dont know if it makes a difference, but my uterus is tilted.

I would play it risky on the safe side. Meaning if you want your baby bad enough i'd carefully play it out but then at the quickest sign of ectopic (additional spotting or pain) immediately have it terminated. That way you can know for certain that you did the right thing.
