It could be asthma or the baby putting pressure on your diaphragm. I get horrible asthma in the beggining of my pregnancies and horrible shortness of breath at the end because the pressure. I'm a mildly short person and I have a tiny torso. I would get it checked out if you start feeling lightheaded at all.

I used to have that during my first & second trimester it feels horrible i went to the ER several times for that & all they told me was that probably it was just to pregnancy & to jst keep hydrated...ohh & that if it continued after i gave birth i would have to go see a cardiologist....& they would send me back home! But now thank god all of that is gone im on my third trimester now & all of that is gone..one thing that really help is laying down on your left side u should try it,it really helps!:)

I Don't have Asthma But Now That I'm Feeling Better I'm Thinking It Was A Panic Attack . I Get Those But I Usually Get Them Really Bad Where I'm Hyperventilating Or A Small One Where My Heart Beats Hard && I Shake && Get Nauseous ... This One Was Different So It Had Me Freaking Out .
