As of Sunday i have NO medical insurance. Woke up yesterday with a really bad cold, can't stop coughing. My nose is so plugged I can bearly breathe. I'm 27 weeks pregnant, what are some things that can help me feel better ; (

You need to apply for medical and since your pregnant they will activate it immediatly

They usually rush paper work due to ur pregnancy they do emergency medical when u really need it asap

I'm in the same boat.. haven't had insurance for a whole MONTH and I've been in and out of the er and to my prenatal visits every week. I didn't find out they closed out my insurance untill i went to the er for the same problems. :( had to go re apply for it so hopefully i can have some type of coverage.. but i hope you feel better! I know.. its crappy..

You being pregnant are protected by fair housing law and they can't actually fire you because you are pregnant.

Are you positive your insurance is up ? Because when my husband quit his job we still had that insurance for another 4 months. Call and double check. Good luck and feel better !

I live in California.  I had insurance through my job but I got fired last week. I went in to apply for Medicare but they told me it can take up to 45 days to get approved ; (
