It can be normal. Anytime you see spotting you should let your doctor know so they are aware and can monitor it.

You may or may not experience spotting throughout your Pregnancy . I know I experience pink spotting throughout my pregnancy, the causes were dehydration, sex, exercising, sometimes standing on my feet too long, urinary tract infection and just the pressure of my uterus may cause some spotting, but neither spotting was associated with cramps, fever...or flu like symptoms.

I would call your doctor if you continue to spot. When I miscarried I had very light pink spotting, that I only noticed when I wiped, for 3 days and didn't experience any pain basically until after the miscarriage had already occurred.
