i called the company where we purchase inks they are going to send me a list of all the names of the inks. I can request protective gear that's not a problem. OSHA sounds pretty good. It would be nice to know the exposure levels of the chemicals not just for me but everyone who works here....
Thank you
Some inks can be exceptionally nasty and if you are able to smell them, then you are being exposed to them at some level. Do you know the names of the inks? I can look up MSDS sheets for you. Does your company provide you with personal protective gear (gloves, respirator etc.)? You could also discretely give OSHA a call and have them come out and perform air-quality tests to determine exposure levels.
Hi there i would deffo go see ur doctors to see if it could be harmful. it is a bit strange tho how alot of the women left when they were pregnant dont u think? but i do wish u the best of luck! let me no how u get on.
I don't touch any of the inks but it smells alot when they are printing jobs. Im in charge of the printing jobs so i have to constantly go to the wearhouse and make sure the job is coming out right. My boss was pregnant about 3 years ago and her baby was deformed so she couldn't have it. she didn't ask the doctor if it was because of the inks but she is also concerned...
Can you actually smell the inks? Do you physically handle them? What kind of inks are they?
