HOW FAR DO YOU HAVE TO BE..

For doctors to admit you?? (Weeks ..and dilated)

You have to progress at my hospital for them to keep you
i went in at 4 cm and i had to dialate more in an hour in order to be admitted.

Another thing....was SHOCKED when they told me i was 4cm...i felt nothing!...im scared!..and dont want it to be too late...when i start feeling pain!

The paperwork from my doctor today said if my contractions were 5 mins apart AND I could not talk through them or walk through them OR if my water broke... That is when I can go to the hospital

You have to be inactive labor in order for them to keep you or a medical reason like high blood pressure

I just called the hospital They told me to wait until the contractions are less than five minutes apart and associated with pain or my water breaks to go in

I found out today....that i was 4cm..at 11am.  Im 39 weeks.  I went to er...because of constant b.hicks.. And they sent me home with no explanation..

Depends on your Dr and hospital. Usually rule of thumb is four cm and thirty six weeks they won't stop you.
