Hair Color

I'm sorry if this seems selfish but I am curious. I have done alot of research on home hair color and harming the baby. I am 24weeks, and the most I can find is just to dye your hair in a well ventilated area, and the color may not turn out as promised. Has anyone had or know of anything harmful to the baby with home hair dye?

not selfish at all. its no way selfish to get your hair dyed. I've done it right through. my baby kicks every single day and is healthy and all. dying hair is fine. I get blonde foils and my hair does go orange but toner fix's that. I've never heard of any baby being harmed/death due to hair dye.

I have never heard stories where a baby was harmed during hair coloring, It is recommended to just do it aftet the first trimester as baby's organs are still developing  (just what I have read) and since you are in the second trimester, I'd say go for it. I colored my hair when I was 15 weeks along and baby is healthy as can be. I will be 24 weeks on Sunday.  :)

I dyed my hair at a salon during my second trimester.  1. I'm 35 weeks with a healthy baby boy & 2. My hair colored turned out just fine..Though I think I might have just gotten lucky
