I gues it's true what they say no two test are made equal haha. Good luck ladies! :)
that is good to know! I use their brand of opk's too. But I haven't had any problem with them really. I got an awesome ++ with the opk yesterday. However I have noticed the there is always a very faint evap line on the pregnancy tests even within like 3 mins which is wayyy before the 10 min mark. Oh well-I guess I'm stuck with em for now since I ordered them months ago lol.
Wow, I got 10 tests there and they ALL came back BFN!!!! I am now 13 weeks pregnant. I even took one the morning of my missed period, still a BFN. Then I went a bought a clear blue easy digital, and took the test in the afternoon --- it popped up "pregnant" in about 5 seconds. I would never waste my money on those again.
Thanks, I wish I new what caused this "smearing" so that it doesnt happen again. All I know is that I did everything in the instructions to a "T" and yet this weird stuff happens. Oh well, it doenst matter at this point I'll just have to patiently wait until Friday to retest :)
Thanks for everyones' help. :)
Those things are worthless. I would recommend buying something from your local pharmacy. Looks like the dye smeared.
Hi Yea I didnt get them there. I live in the UK. Also I actually held it just for 10 seconds as it reads on the instructions to do so, also the 10mui is written every where. On the packaging. On the strips pouches and in the manual. Actually it says "at least 10 seconds" which is the same in every stick I've ever bought in the past. But I'll take your advice and hold it in the urine for a little less. This has never happened before and I used sticks about 6 per cycle, with over 6 months ttc. So who knows I could have very well have gotten a fluke.
I have used those exact strips they are from earlypregnancytests.com. The dye just didn't finish going across, I looks like mine do when I hold it in the urine too long. Where did you read that they have a sensitivity of 10? Mine say a sensitivity of 20! which is still pretty low. Anyway, if it was positive you should have seen a second line. When you test again only hold it in the urine cup 5 seconds that should prevent the dye settling in the middle again.
:) it's ok thank you very much :)I'll be needing it hehe.
i know sorry i just read your post that said that lol best of luck to you
Yea this is the first time I use them but I NEVER pee on the stick I always collect. So not sure what happened here. :(
these are the type i nearly always use never had a problem with them but i have never pee on them i always collect the urine and dip it into the max line because you arn't ment to get it wet above that line
Thanks sweetie.I hope so too it's been many months of bfn :)
I'll def keep you posted :)
Stinging BB's are a great symptom!! Hopefully the real deal is on the way!!!! Good luck and keep us posted!!!!!
Glad I could make you laugh! It is good to have humor during the 2ww!!! : )
lol your so funny :) Yea I'm going to retest on friday. No real symptoms other than my nipps are killing me, they feel like needles. TMI sorry ;)
Oh, I just saw BTS's post! Is this a HPT or OPK?? Either way it looks like a faulty test strip!
No it is actually an HPT hmm interesting I held it in the wee for the amount of time on the instructions. But very interesting maybe it was too long.
Thanks! :D
Wow! That is a waste of a test! It looks like the dye just smeared across the whole test strip! Hopefully it was in the process of creating the second line and it got a little carried away!!! : )
I am sorry you had a faulty test and I am sure the suspense is really getting you now!!!! Hopefully this a BFP in the making!!!
When are you testing again??
I'm guessing thats an OPK? I have absolutely no experience in those, however I have seen this on a pregnancy test once. I think to much urine was used when it happened. Not to sure though, hopefully someone else will chime in. I just wanted to take a look out of curiosity lol.
