Head, abdomen and extremeties different weeks

I am 24 weeks and the recent ultrasound showed the head to be 24 weeks diameter, the abdome, 23 weeks, and the ulna and femur 22 weeks. The umbilical cord is on the side of the placenta. Should I be concerned. This is my first child and I am 34 years old.

Oh, and at 34 weeks my daughter's head measured 34 weeks, the abdomen 32 weeks and the femur 33 weeks.  So a similar lag, but nothing concerning at that point.

I am 38 weeks and have the same placenta/umbilical cord issue as you.  I measured a week behind until about 34 weeks when the growth dropped even more.  My baby girl is in the 16th percentile right now and the Dr. brought up induction at my appt today.  I've been having biophysical profiles once a week since 33 weeks.  She is active and still growing, fluid is fine, heartrate is fine, she is just small.  They will watch you closely and make sure that her growth doesn't drop off significantly, or the abdomen doesn't begin to fall behind rapidly, if not enough nutrients are reaching the baby the abdomen is the first to lag.  If it seems like the baby is not getting enough nutrients then they will want to induce you early.  You are not too far behind, pretty much similar to me, and I did fine until almost the end.

Good luck!
