low fetal heart rate

i went and got a vaginal ultrasound this past week.  i was 6 weeks and 2 days. they said everything lookes great but the baby heart rate was 111 bpm. the dr said she was a little concerned but i dont go back for 3 weeks when i am about 10 weeks.  i was wondering if anyone knew if this is real low for 6 weeks and what chances do i have for my baby being ok. i had a miscarriage 3 months ago and i am so scared. this is mine and my husbands first child.

My baby's heartbeat was 97 bpm at 5w 6d. My doctor said it needed to be atleast 110bpm by my next appointment which was a week later (I was monitored due to 2 previous miscarriages). At 6 w 6d it was 125 bpm.  111bpm is in the normal range for your stage.

Why would the doc say that? During those first few weeks, the heartbeat is slower. If you are still scared and concerned, then you'd do better to get your HCG and progesterone levels tested just to make sure that your levels are good. Just call the office and tell them you want to get those tests. They'll tell you where to go from there!

But honestly, I wouldn't be worried.

Its completely normal at that stage the heart has just started beating and is expected to be lower. At 6w1d mine had a heartbeat of 95 bpm and now I'm 37 1/2 weeks. Sounds to me like things are going great!
