Heart beat at 10 weeks but no symptoms... Worried???

I am 13 weeks tomorrow and my next appointment is next Monday. I had my first doctor appointment at 10 weeks 3days (according to the ultrasound) and there was a heartbeat and the doctor said everything looked great. I asked and said if I should still wait till 12-13 weeks to get my hopes up cuz I thought that was the miscarriage danger zone and he told me he tells his patients after 10 weeks you're pretty safe. Well I am currently feeling no symptoms. The nausea and sore boobs have gone away weeks ago. I'm still pretty tired and I get light headed often but that's pretty much it. I'm pretty average sized and have a small midsection so I thought I'd start showing really easy but it doesn't look like I'm showing at all yet. I know it's still small but I looked at other pictures of women at 12 and 13 weeks and they seemed to be showing more than they were before pregnancy. I'm just super worried I miscarried... I've miscarried before but the doctor made me feel like I was in the clear. My friend told me she didn't get her second ultrasound till 17 weeks to find the sex so I think the next appointment is only for blood tests. Am I allowed to request an ultrasound. I just wanna know the baby is growing and everything is OK...

I wouldn't worry like the others said and being a ftm your uterus isn't stretched out like others who have already had babies also your uterus might be upright or tilted back (both normal) and that just means you'll take longer to show... try to stay positive and enjoy your pregnancy

Alot of ftm don't show right away my first I didn't start showing til around 20 wks the size of your belly doesn't mean anything I'm sure your baby is doing just fine at your next apt they will do a fetal heart doppler on you an you'll be able to heart your baby's heart beat I'm sure you'll feel better when you hear it

I have been where you've been. I've miscarried twice now. The symptoms of miscarriage are cramping and bleeding. If you are not having any red blood coming I think your still pregnant. I went in a few days ago because I was having small cramps (I'm 14 weeks) she used the Doppler and couldn't find a heartbeat so she sent me for an ultrasound. They tech found it right away. I was nervous and thought I miscarried to because my symptoms have gone away to. But if you are not bleeding or having cramps or even brown discharge I think you are safe. I know how you feel tho. Once you miscarry you think it will keep happening. Good luck!

A lot of ftms don't show until twenty ish weeks and it's normal for your symptoms to start going away around twelve weeks. You should at the very least be able to hear your baby's heartbeat at your appointment, but you can talk to your doc about the possibility/timing of ultrasounds. Good luck mama! I'm sure everything is fine. A good rule of thumb is that once you hear the heartbeat your risk of miscarriage sinks almost to nothing.
