Heart burn
I have no tums or milk. And no money to buy any until Tuesday. What are some home remedies to get rid of it?
Jello!! Tues and all that hadn't worked on my 3rd pregnancy..I buy the pre made jello fruit cups by dole and I guess the gelatin absorbs the acid or just tames my tummy but it tastes good, stays down and get a rid of it all!
DO NOT USE MILK. Dairy like milk and ice cream, everyone says to use. My doctor said DON'T. It's basic but turns into acid in your stomach and makes it worse. The relief is only temporary. :( Try living your hands up over your head. It extends the stomach and may keep acid from coming up. If you can, try to get a piece of bread in there to absorb the acid. I used to drink water to "keep it down" bit it just added more volume to the stomach. x___x
Unfortunately I was diagnosed with GERD and I've been MISERABLE up until the last week where I've had a medicine called Protonix or whatever. Try the bread and arm lifting until you can get to a store, then try the Pepcid AC. It's pregnancy safe for when it occurs often or really bad and also helps prevent it (even if it didn't work long in my case lol). Look at the dollar stores for generics that are cheaper. :)

I feel your pain! We Live more than an hour away from any shops, and honestly, sometimes I wake up on the morning with heartburn. So strange, I haven't even eaten anything!
Mix about half a teaspoon of Baking Soda with about a quarter glass of water and drink it. It helps me every time I have heartburn and that's a lot haha
A tablespoon of mustard will make it go away , I did it all the time when I was pregnant with my son
