Heart rate

I am 35 weeks and 3 days I went to my doctors appointment in Friday they checked the babies heart rate and I was told it was really high. They put me on a monitor for about an hour still was high. They wanted me to come back in a few days to see if the heart rate went back down. Later that night I started having contractions I went to labor and delivery and was told the same thing that my babies heart rate is still high. I asked what it could mean they just kept telling me nothing to worry about. Has anyone else had this problem of high heart rate and what does it mean?

My first son had a very high heart rate when I was in labor with him for the whole 10 hours. I got no answers as to why but I can tell you he was born perfectly healthy and even saw a cartiologist after birth and his heart was absoloutly fine. I was under a lot of stress in the days leading up to his birth and was told that may have been a contributing factor.
