question about mucus..

I heard it common in the last few weeks to have alot more cervical mucus present. Dont want to sound gross or any thing (TMI) but the last week or so mine has went from really watery (almost a clear color) to a little thicker(like a whiteish color). My original due due was may 9th which would make me almost 37 weeks, but my doctor pushed it back to 35, making my due date the 21st. Every time I get measured I am 2 weeks bigger ( went at week 34 and measured 36.5) and its been that way since 21 weeks. Does anyone know anything about the cervical mucus and what happens before you go into labor?? I have a feeling I am close to having my daughter but I would like some advice!

I'm 30 weeks and have been losing pieces of mine since about 28 weeks. My doctor told me it happens the more active you are abd that it will just regenerate. Only worry or call when there is blood and contractions. With my first baby, I started losing pieces of mine at like 36-37 weeks, but blood didn't come present until the night before I went Into labor. It came along with some light contractions at about 7-8 pm and I slept through the night very uncomfortable and then about 2 pm the next day they were so bad I had to go in. Got to the hospital at 3 pm abd was admitted at 4cm dialated abd 90 %  effaced. My baby was born on his due date, 12 hours later :)

I've read on multiple sites that the cervical plug will continue to replace itself until your body completely ready to let it slide out.
