Hello ladies, umm update and important Question....

I am now 32 weeks, i was getting some cramping on Thursday and wasnt sure what it was so just put it off, it got worst on Friday August 1st at like 3am so i went to the ER to see what was happening, now let me remind you i was only 30wks 6days at this point. They sent me up to labour and delivery and hooked me up to the machine the tracks the baby's heartbeat. I was hooked up to it for about 30-35min before they said i have contractions and they were about 5 min apart, doctor told me i was going into early labour, SCARY! I was hooked up all night and then they sent me 5 hours away to a different hospital where they handled premature babies. I was there all week with IV and they gave me pills and patches to try and rid of the contractions. They also gave me 2 needles to help my babys lungs develop faster..Very scary experience but needless to say i am home without my son soo it did work. But i have been told tto bed rest because i am fully effaced and 2 cm dialated...Now my question is....what does mucas plug look like? sorry, i have been having some discharge that is quite snot like sorry TMI but i need to know...Thank you

i have heard that the mucos plug has pink in it aswell but not all the time, Because you can lose it occasionally over time and not all at once it wont be pink, if thats the case the pink tinge will come closer to when your about to deliver...

hmm that scares me a little.......ahhhhhhhh. cuz im 33wks and have been having some cramping and alot of pressure down there.and alot of snotty but runny discharge also...ive been trying to ignore it and think its nothing but you never know what this could be.

ive asked on here about the discharge im having. and the girls on here say that the mucous plug is really thick clear but snotty at the same time and usually has a tint of pink in it.so i take there advice but im not to sure cuz this is my first so yeah.

early labour?? AHHHHH   i have been cramping off and on for just short of a week... with inbearable lower back pain. my doc just told me it was probably BHs. so i have been sitting at home in pain. after hearing your story i might head up to the hospital tonight and just get things check out.
as for the mucous plug.... im not sure what it looks like. i never lost mine naturally with my first baby. i think it is sorta discolored and very snotty looking. but thats just a guess.
