Help! Bleeding while Pregnant?

Last Friday, October 5th, I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. 3 days prior, I had went to the bathroom & there was blood. Not much at all, but I immediately called my doctor and made an appointment. She said it may be normal, but may be a miscarriage. Blood levels were fine so she said just to take it easy and if I lost more blood, it may proceed to be a miscarriage. It's been 4 days now & there is bleeding on & off. Not crazy bad, but worries me! I took a test yesterday & it says I'm still pregnant so I am unsure of what to think of this bleeding. Help?

Thanks so much. That's such a relief.. The first 2 days of bleeding weren't too bad, but i wouldn't consider it spotting. I have been doing nothing but drinking lots of fluids, taking my vitamins, & resting..& the bleeding has slowed durastically. I'm going to make an appoimtment tomorrow to get in to see a doctor because i cannot stop worrying. I just want my baby to be okay :(

Spotting in early pregnancy is normal. But if it continues and is heavy then it may be a miscarriage. And only time will tell for you. It's fine that you still got a positive test as he hormones doubt leave your body until about a week after losing a child.
All you can do is try and rest and try plenty of water  I hope this all works out for you and you and baby will be ok
